Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sprout: Baby Milestone Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Section 2

Description of Service

Sprout is a baby development tracking application that helps parents and caregivers monitor their baby's physical growth and developmental milestones. The app provides WHO/CDC-based growth percentile charts, age-appropriate milestone checklists, a memory timeline, and a Pediatrician PDF Report to support evidence-based peace of mind throughout your baby's journey.

Sprout is a tracking and reference tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your baby's health and development.

Section 3

User Accounts

To use the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Section 4

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Upload malicious content or code
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Misrepresent your baby's health data or use the App to generate false medical documentation

Section 5

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App require a Sprout Premium subscription, including the Pediatrician PDF Export, multi-child support, and unlimited Memory Lane photos. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual)
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective app store
• We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice

Section 6

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, growth chart visualizations, and software — are the exclusive property of Sprout and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Section 7

User Content

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit through the App, including your baby's growth measurements, milestone logs, photos, and parent notes. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

We do not claim ownership of your baby's health data, photos, or personal information.

Section 8

Medical Disclaimer

Sprout uses WHO/CDC growth standards and CDC milestone guidelines as reference points. Growth percentile calculations and milestone indicators within the App are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.

The App's Smart Flagging feature (which suggests a doctor consult if growth percentile drops significantly) is a passive informational alert — not a diagnosis. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider with any concerns about your baby's health or development.

Section 9

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of growth percentile calculations

Sprout is a baby tracking tool and does not provide professional medical advice of any kind. You are solely responsible for your decisions regarding your child's health and care.

Section 10

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sprout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of baby profile records, or any decisions made based on app-provided information, arising from your use of the App.

Section 11

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Section 12

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sprout operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Section 13

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
