Welcome to Sprout: Baby Milestone Tracker. Your privacy — and your baby's privacy — is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application.

By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

• Name and email address
• Password (securely encrypted)

b. Baby Profile Information

To calculate clinical growth percentiles and track developmental milestones, we collect:

• Baby's name and date of birth
• Biological sex
• Prematurity information (if applicable), including original due date
• Growth measurements: weight, height, and head circumference over time
• Milestone status logs with timestamps
• Optional photos and parent notes attached to memory entries

c. Subscription and Payment Information

Subscriptions are processed through:

• Apple App Store

We do not store or access your payment details. Payment data is handled securely by the app stores and our subscription provider (RevenueCat).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and baby profile
• Calculate WHO/CDC growth percentiles using the LMS algorithm
• Display age-appropriate milestone recommendations based on your baby's exact age
• Generate the Pediatrician PDF Report (Premium feature)
• Provide customer support
• Process subscriptions and manage entitlement states
• Improve app performance and features

Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and your baby's health information, including:

• Encrypted storage of all health and profile data
• Secure servers with restricted access
• Industry-standard authentication practices

No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do, however, implement industry-standard practices to safeguard your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data or your baby's health data. We may share data only:

• With trusted service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, subscription management)
• If required by law
• To protect the rights or safety of users

Account and Data Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time by:

• Using the in-app delete option in Profile & Settings, or
• Contacting us at hello@sproutapp.com

When your account is deleted, your personal data, baby profile, growth logs, milestone records, and memory photos will be permanently removed from our servers.

Section 7

Children's Privacy

Sprout is designed to be used by parents and caregivers to track the development of their infants and young children. The account holder must be 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under the age of 13.

Baby profile data is collected solely for the purpose of providing growth and milestone tracking services to the account holder.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
