Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NutriCare AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

NutriCare AI is an AI-powered food scanning application that analyses your meals and checks them against your personal health conditions — including diabetes, gastritis, high blood pressure, GERD, high cholesterol, gout, celiac disease, lactose intolerance, and more.

The app provides per-item verdict chips, a dish safety score, damage control advice, and a daily scan streak — designed to help you make better food decisions without relying on guesswork.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Upload malicious content or code
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Misuse the AI scan feature to produce excessive or spam requests

Subscriptions and Payments

NutriCare AI is a Pro subscription app. A subscription is required to use the App's features, including photo, label, and text scans.

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store.

• The Pro Annual plan includes a 3-day free trial; you will be charged when the trial ends unless cancelled beforehand
• The Pro Monthly plan is charged instantly at the time of purchase
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You may cancel at any time through your App Store settings
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the Apple App Store
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including text, graphics, logos, icons, AI models, and software — are the exclusive property of NutriCare AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

User Content

You retain ownership of any data or content you submit through the App, including your health conditions, scan photos, and preferences. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

We do not claim ownership of your health data, preferences, or personal information.

Medical Disclaimer

NutriCare AI provides general wellness information based on widely accepted dietary guidelines. This is not medical advice. Always check with your doctor before changing what you eat, especially if you are managing a chronic health condition.

The App is submitted to the App Store under the Health & Fitness category, not Medical. You are solely responsible for verifying food choices with qualified healthcare professionals.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. NutriCare AI does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated food verdicts, dish safety scores, or damage control advice. AI results may not be perfect — always use your own judgement and consult a healthcare professional.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NutriCare AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI-generated food verdicts or advice.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NutriCare AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
